What in the world are people passing off as art these days? For the love of rourx most peeps dont even know the meaning of the word, they wouldnt know real art if it smacked them on the nose and flashed them a peek.
What happened tot he days when quality actually mattered. when content was the essence not profit. NOwadays I pick up a book by a contemporary writer and I'm irritated in the least. it all seems so cut and dried. I look at art works in exhibitions and galleries and I'm almost tempted to tell the painters to bury their brushes as a pact that they should never paint again.
Dont even get me started on our movies and what some have the audacity to call music. I would laugh myself to tears if it all wasnt so disheartning.
Now dont get me wrong, among this throng of untalented murderers of the arts we do have some who can hold their own and who know what they are doing.
Youve just got to think, what will it be like in the future with the current trend in the art world.
